Lately I’ve really struggled with blogging. Mostly finding the time to sit in front of this computer and organize my thoughts into a manner that is coherent and (hopefully) interesting. So instead of trying to make sense, I’ll just fill you in on what I’ve been up to in the absence of blogging!
First off, I made a quick road trip up California to Auburn to help my sister and her husband move into their new home!! I’ve driven that road dozen’s of time, but I was still struck by the beauty and openness of California. It’s easy to forget that we have so much untouched land when you live in Orange County. It was both exciting and sad to move them into their new home because it means that my big sister is no longer a 10 minute drive away! :( But I’m thrilled that they are chasing their goals and living the life they’ve dreamed of!
Next, I got up early for the Magic Shoe 5K race to help cheer on the CFI crew and other runners! It was a mostly friendly race, except the competitors going for 1st place! These guys and gals posted some amazing times and I’m hoping in a few months I’ll be ready to run my first 5k!
Finally, I spent a great afternoon at Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot taking some updated photographs of their clergy and staff members. It was nice to photograph something different then my usual weddings and portraits. It was also great to work with such kind and passionate people!
So I apologize for my lack of blogging, but I have some great photographs to share with you. Stay tuned! :)
