I’m so thrilled to share this adorable DIY wedding, I can barely type! I LOVE everything about this wedding and just adore Alyssa, Hyrum and their families.
I had to continually pinch myself throughout their wedding because everything was just too beautiful to believe. The light was AH-MAZ-ING for their temple exit and portraits, especially because it was mid-day which is usually not ideal for portraits. During our first meeting Alyssa mentioned wanting overcast weather for her wedding day (for that beautiful soft and even lighting) and the June gloom held on just long enough for the portraits… love it when that happens! :)
My sweet bride Alyssa happens to be an extremely talented artist, so I was especially excited to see all the DIY details she was planing. Just wait till to see all the adorableness at their reception!! Just thinking of this day makes my heart smile, it was one of those perfect days. I feel incredibly blessed to witness the start of Alyssa and Hyrum’s new life together and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two! :)
Whenever I photograph an LDS wedding, I look forward to the Temple exit, I just love the reactions!
The proud family, making sure they don’t miss the shot! ;)
Portrait time!! I could have posted EVERY photo I took with Alyssa and Hyrum… everything was that lovely!
Love Alyssa’s hair piece… which get this, she made! This girl has and abundance of talent!
The yummy light I was telling you about!!
While driving around for portraits, I kept looking back at them in my mirror… So happy I stopped to get this shot!
Best candy bar… EVER!
Great idea to sting photos up around the reception!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Peterson!
Congratulations Alyssa and Hyrum, may your life be just as beautiful as your wedding day!
