Anne & Tommy: Redondo Beach Wedding

Jun 30, 2011 | Wedding

If there is one thing I’ve learned from being a wedding photographer, it’s that things don’t always go according to plans. Thankfully with the right attitude, and and a sense of humor, things always work out for the best!

This was certainly the case on Anne and Tommy’s big day. Traveling from Washington DC for their nuptials at The Portofino Hotel & Marina Redondo Beach, an outdoor ceremony by the ocean was especially important to them. With gail force winds and caution warnings everywhere, they took a risk and decided to keep the outdoor ceremony as planned. That decision certainly paid off, because their wedding was absolutely stunning, wind and all!

Since Anne and Tommy booked me from DC, this was the first time I met them in person and it was so great to finally put faces to the names! As you will see they are such a cute couple, and fit one another perfectly! They were such troopers through all the crazy wind, and I’m thrilled to finally show off their photos!
