When your middle name is “Fox” – you can bet your bottom dollar your parents are going to run with that theme for your newborn photo session! And it’s probably not the last time the fox theme will make an appearance — but it certainly might be the cutest! This Costa Mesa newborn session with Baby Holden was seriously the most adorable thing I’ve seen in a long time. That knitted fox bonnet and bloomers were to-die-for precious! Seriously – it even had a tail!
Costa Mesa Newborn Session
Baby Holden’s mom, Jamie, is a dear friend of mine — which made this session even sweeter! My little guy Jones and her firstborn, Hudson, are just a few days apart and we met in an amazing mom’s group called The New Mom’s School. Sidenote: If you’re in OC and expecting a baby – def check them out!
Over the last 12+ months, I’ve had the opportunity to do life with Jamie – and I’m so grateful to call her my friend. This brave mama is the first in our group to have a second child and we know she will totally rock the 2 under 2 game! Seriously – if anyone can handle it and thrive under the circumstances – she can!
This newborn session was magical on many levels (check out that smile above for proof) and I even got to capture a few photos of Baby Holden with his big brother. And, if you know anything about 18-month-olds – you know that’s no easy feat!
I can’t wait to see this family grow and change in the coming months and years! Walking alongside them in parenthood has been a real treat. I can’t stress enough how important the sisterhood of motherhood is. If you’re a new – or even a seasoned mama – and you don’t have a strong group of mothers around you, lifting you up – find them and then hold them close!
