Have you seen the movie 27 Dresses with Katherine Heigl? If the answer is “no” my question to you is “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???”. Seriously though – it’s a great movie. The reason I ask is that this wedding brought that movie to memory because the bride, Donna, has been the bridesmaid in….wait for it….15 weddings!
That might seem like a crazy number, but if you’ve spent any time with Donna, you can see why so many brides have asked for her to stand by their side on their wedding day. She’s kind, compassionate and uplifting to be around – making her a great friend and easy pick as a bridesmaid.
When it came time for Donna’s Bella Collina San Clemente Wedding, she wanted all of those friends by her side as well. This made Donna and Scott’s wedding party the largest I’ve photographed to date.

Let’s talk about this bride and groom and their compatibility for a moment, because I have no doubt in my mind that they were made for one another. Their relationship is built on faith, and a deep appreciation for one another. Their love feels older than it is – and I’m confident that married life will suit them well because of it.
There were so many special moments throughout this wedding day. From the stunning soft-colored florals by Lynne Lucente Floral Designs to the recording of Donna’s late mother singing Ave Maria during their ceremony. It was truly a day full of so much emotion, love, joy, and beauty.
To be honest, this hardly felt like a day at work. Donna and Scott’s wedding day felt much more like watching two friends tie the knot. This is probably, in part, because I’ve spent time with Donna at several of her friend’s weddings – but mostly because I think they are just that type of couple. They welcomed me with open arms, trusted me and included me in their (huge) group of close friends and family.
Cheers to you, Donna and Scott!
