Who needs a good excuse to have professional photographs taken? Well – turns out, most people do. My referrals usually fall into one of these categories: Engagement, Wedding, Newborn or Family Sessions. And you know what – there ain’t no shame in that! However, I’m also a big fan of documenting life’s smaller, more unconventional milestones! This Costa Mesa couples session (plus puppy!) is the perfect example.
Jackie and I go WAY back (like back to the days when Kaysha Weiner Photographer was only a dream) and I was thrilled when she reached out to ask if I would take some photos of her and her boyfriend, Matt along with their new four-legged addition, Westley. But you guys, when I actually laid eyes on Westley for the first time I just knew this session would turn out super cute. This puppy is to-die-for adorable.
Costa Mesa Couples Session (+ Puppy)
We held this Costa Mesa couples session at my favorite hidden gem of a park – and I couldn’t have been happier with how the natural light played out. Mother Nature really threw us a bone (pun intended), as the weather has been less than predictable this winter.
While some wouldn’t consider adopting a puppy a milestone worthy of professional photographs — I beg to differ and I’m showing you plenty of evidence to support my opinion below! What a special time for Jackie and Matt (and Westley, too) and I’m so glad you asked me to document it for you!
