Sharleen and Sean have a way about them. A wonderful, refreshing way. Both are super chill. And that is not an understatement. While many of us may be able to describe ourselves as “super chill” in our day-to-day lives, weddings tend to bring out the not-so-chill-side of the average personality. Not the case with Sharleen and Sean – at all! Their Crossings at Carlsbad wedding was delightful – and a huge part of that is how happy and calm they were all day.
To say they were happy to be getting married to each other is a huge understatement. And to simply say I was honored to be a part of it is an underrepresentation of just how honored I was!
The Crossings at Carlsbad Wedding Photos
This couple might feel very familiar to my regular blog readers — and for good reason. I photographed Sharleen and Sean’s engagement session just a couple weeks before their wedding. This, albeit unusual, really had me so excited for their big day. Making that connection with them so close to their wedding day brought out all the feels — and their wedding at The Crossings at Carlsbad was a continuation of that.
Sharleen and Sean literally floated through their wedding day with ease. A big factor in that is their laid-back nature I referenced above, but I would be remiss if I didn’t point out the even bigger factor: Sharleen and Sean hired vendors they love and trust and then took a step back and let those experts do their job. Take note, engaged couples! This is how a wedding should be done.
One of my favorite moments from this Crossings at Carlsbad wedding was the personalized vows and even the similarity in words they chose to express their love to one another. And don’t even get me started on their sweet pup, Oski! Not only was Oski part of the ceremony, he totally nailed the wedding photos, too! And my fav reception highlight was definitely the Korean ceremony!
What a beautiful love story captured! Here is to a wonderful life together, Sharleen and Sean!
