This wedding was the first of many things for me. First time shooting along side Erich Chen, the first time shooting at West Lake Village Inn, and the first time using the 16-35mm 2.8 lens (LOVE)! All things worked together flawlessly and I’m super excited to finally share my favorites from the day!
I can always tell what a wedding will be like based off of the brides shoes. As soon as I saw these red pumps, I knew we were in for an awesome wedding!!
Ah Desiree! Seriously one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever worked with! Not only was she relaxed, kind and adorable, but she would not stop feeding us amazing pastries!! The quickest way to my heart is surely with food! ;)
Both Desiree and Claudell’s family were so incredibly kind and welcoming, Desiree’s dad always had a smile on his face and was so excited to see his daughter in her gown!
While Erich was photographing the ladies, I got to explore more of West Lake Village Inn with the guys!
The cutest ring-bearer EVER!!
Claudell had not one, but TWO paris of wedding shoes, so it’s no surprise that his groomsmen would be sporting Chucks!
Donald Trump would be proud!
Their reception location was b-e-a-utiful! This metal structure was so intricate and a stunning focal point!
Lovin’ me some details!
My favorite shot of the day!
While Erich was photographing Desiree and Claudell, I was busy getting all the ballroom details. Since Claudell is a HUGE Lakers fan all the tables were named after Laker players! Such a fun idea!
Grand entrance and one of the many guests with a nice camera! We were greatly outnumbered! ;)
The toasts had everyone in tears, including me!
