Sarah and John are just too adorable for words! In my experience, both as a professional photographer and as a wife, it’s almost always a struggle to get guys excited about taking pictures. It requires getting dressed up, driving to a random location, and spending an hour in front of the camera. I know, it sounds like some sort of torture. Actually, now that I type it out it does seem rather odd. But, c’est la vie, carpe diem and all of that. Because having pictures to remember special occasions is SO important. And, I’ll tell you, John was a VIP photography client and fiancée. He absolutely loved every minute of his Fall Redwood Tree engagement shoot with Sarah.
These cuties are crazy for each other, which made my job very easy and oh so much fun! There were plenty of snuggles and hugs and the adoration these two feel towards each other just blew me away during our short time together. I think they may have forgotten I was there. That’s how into each other Sarah and John are. I love seeing two people so in love.
Fall Redwood Tree Engagement
They say “a picture is worth a thousand words” and, as you can see, that is very true. It’s also true that a picture can be deceiving. Looking at these pics, you might be feeling the crisp fall air on your face and maybe even smell the faint hint of apple pie. Sadly, it was actually a 90+ degree “fall” day.
Get. Serious. California.
As much as I would’ve loved to be out amongst the fall redwood trees in a sweater, crunching leaves while following these two love birds through the woods – I wouldn’t trade our hour together. It was perfection because that is what true love it. It’s messy, fun, unpredictable, goes against norms and sometimes… it’s burning hot.
