I’m a rule follower. There, I said it.
I enjoy rules, boundaries, and structure. They make me happy! But as the saying goes, “rules are meant to be broken”. And Jessica and Charles’ Griffith Observatory engagement session caused me to break allllllll the rules!
Let me explain.
Griffith Observatory Engagement Session
I offer engagement session couples the opportunity to include a wardrobe change during their session and even the opportunity to choose a second location (as long as it’s close to the first one). This helps to maximize our time together and creates more variety in the final gallery.
I’m telling you this because, if you are a regular follower on my blog, you may notice that I usually only highlight one location and one look on the blog. I won’t get into all the details – but it often boils down to wanting a cohesive look on my blogs posts. And with many couples choosing a casual and glam look for their engagement session – visual cohesiveness is a delicate balance.
Jessica and Charles’ Griffith Observatory engagement session had me throwing that rule right out the window! And I can’t wait to show you both of their killer looks – and I do mean killer!
This couple brought some serious style to their shoot and I loved every minute of it! I also loved every jacket selection this duo made and may or may not have been taking style notes! To add a layer of sweetness, you should know that Jessica is actually a previous bridesmaid, and I was so flattered when she contacted me for her upcoming wedding. I seriously cannot wait to get these two back in from of my camera!
If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day will be one to remember. And no doubt the entire affair will be one steeped in style, laughter, and so much love! Stay tuned!
