La Habra Heights Backyard Wedding

If this couple looks familiar, your eyes are not fooling you! Stephanie and Sean’s engagement shoot was covered on the blog just a few weeks ago, where I teased their intimate La Habra Heights backyard wedding. Well folks, the wait is over.

When it comes to backyard weddings, this couple planned a killer one. And they planned in just THREE MONTHS, thanks to the help of her extremely talented cousin Tiffany, who also hosted the wedding at her home (which they moved into only days before the wedding)! Talk about a time crunch! I couldn’t be more excited to feature them as my first wedding on the blog for 2018!

There is something so special about small, intimate weddings. The bride and groom tend to be way more relaxed, which then rubs off onto the guests and completely sets the mood for the whole day. Plus, the small guest count ensures that everyone in attendance is truly important to the couple. To add to the laid back, intimate setting, the bride and groom wrote their own vows and seeing them read those aloud to one another was enough to tug at anyone’s heart strings!

With the combination of the earth tones, geometric shapes, and not to mention jaw-dropping lace gown that graced this bride and mama-to-be, this boho-inspired wedding was simply gorgeous.

There is nothing better than a laid back, truly-in-love, and super photogenic couple to help make my photographer heart flutter! It’s been a joy knowing Stephanie for so long and to walk alongside she and Sean from their engagement to their wedding day. I just know know I will be seeing much more of their growing family very soon! Stephanie and Sean are preparing to welcome their daughter into the world in a few short months, so 2018 is going to be quite the year for them!

If their wedding is any indication of what the rest of my 2018 wedding season will bring, I’m ready for one beautiful and heartfelt year!
