I like to think that everything happens for a reason, and I have a feeling Donna and Scott feel the same way. Feeling skeptical? This Little Corona Newport Beach engagement session is all the proof you need.
Having met Donna several times through past clients, I was ecstatic when she reached out to share the wonderful news of her engagement – and I was over the moon when she asked me to take photographs documenting the occasion. Donna is honestly one of the most genuine people I’ve met in recent years. She lights up any room she is in and is a source of support and encouragement to so many people in her life. She’s my kind of people!
Little Corona Newport Beach Engagement Photos
Leading up to this Little Corona Newport Beach engagement session, I was super excited to get to know Scott more. I mean, Donna is someone really special and my few interactions with Scott led me to believe he was, too. Within a few minutes of starting this session – it was not only clear that Scott is definitely something special, but more importantly that these two are a perfect match.
Scott and Donna both have a gentle, kind nature and I just loved strolling Little Corona Newport Beach with them – recreating the details about their first date. Sushi and watching the sunset on a lifeguard tower as you can see by these photos. The entire session felt so comfortable and relaxed.
And comfortable and relaxed was not how I was feeling about two hours before this engagement session was scheduled to start. Dark storm clouds rolled in (uninvited) followed by a massive downpour. This is rare weather for Southern California – so I was panicking a bit. Scott kept Donna and I calm throughout and we all agreed to trust that Mother Nature was going to come through for us.
As I drove through the rain to Little Corona Newport Beach, my brain was working overtime trying to think of an indoor backup location. But wouldn’t you know it – as I pulled into Newport, the clouds parted and the rain faded away. It turned out to be a lovely afternoon at the beach, with an even lovelier couple.
See, I told you everything happens for a reason.
