As many of you already know, we are anxiously waiting the arrival of our first baby! Thankfully his due date corresponds with my slow season – yay! He’s already proving to be quite the compliant little boy (insert sarcasm here because, from what I hear, things are about to get very interesting). So, what does my maternity leave mean for you?
Beginning January 2017, I will be on maternity leave until early Spring. I’m keeping things flexible, but will most likely resume shooting in early April. During my leave, I will still be booking weddings for Summer, Fall and Winter 2017, so do not hesitate to reach out about my availability to shoot your wedding or lifestyle shoots and certainly don’t hold back from referring me to your recently engaged friends :)
I will not be shooting during my maternity leave (unless you count the thousands of pics I’ll probably snap of my new baby boy), however, my business will not be closing down entirely. My email inbox and calendar will be tended to by my amazing office manager extraordinaire, Raquel Wilson. Basically, I’m leaving you in the best hands ever. You’re welcome for that.
After the initial shock and awe of our baby boy’s arrival is over and we pull ourselves out of our love stupor (ok, that may never happen) I will be checking in with clients and answering questions about upcoming shoots. I just might be a little slower to respond than normal… so accept this as my apology in advance. :)
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this transition time. We cannot wait to introduce you all to our little bundle of joy! I think 2017 is shaping up to be the best year yet.
If you or someone you know wants to talk about their upcoming Spring, Summer or Fall 2017 wedding feel free to contact my team. You can also stay up-to-date with upcoming events, like Fall Mini shoots, by subscribing to my newsletter.
*Special thanks to Brandi Welles for our beautiful maternity photos.
