Business ownership comes with a lot of unexpected questions, hurdles and tough decisions. But – it also comes with a lot of unexpected joys. Getting to watch my wedding couples become parents has been one of the unexpected joys that I cannot get enough of. So. Much. Love! This Mission Viejo newborn session with Baby Ethan is all the proof you need.
This family might look familar to you if you’re a regular blog reader — and for good reason. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them not once or twice, but FOUR times before! I captured images of Elizabeth and Eric at their 2013 Coto Valley Country Club wedding and again in 2015 when their daughter Emmalynn was born. Additionally, I shot their engagment session and an extended family lifestyle session. <3
I was excited to be invited once again into their sacred space during such a special time – the first few days of Baby Ethan’s life. I just loved capturing this new family of 4 on camera!
Watching Elizabeth and Eric’s life evolve over the last few years has been so fun! And now that I’m a parent, I have a new found appreciation for them and all that they’ve gone through. Parenting ain’t easy – but so so worth it!
Mission Viejo Newborn Session
Before we talk about all the sweetness that is Baby Ethan — can we talk about his nursery for a sec? How ADORABLE! The clean lines, the grey on natural wood tones, the PRACTICALITY of those floating baskets. Yes. Yes. Yes. Totally my style.
Ethan probably won’t be paying much attention to his nursey decor because I’m pretty sure his eyes will be set on his doting big sister, Emmalyn. She was so sweet and gentle with her new little brother and I can’t wait to see the friendship that forms between these two as they grow.
Elizabeth and Eric – so much has changed in your world (and in mine) since I first photographed you back in 2013. Thank you for the opportunity to take a jaunt down memory lane. Here’s to many more memories being captured on camera of your beautiful family for years to come!
