Since I’ve had the opportunity to photograph more and more children, I’m quickly falling in love with documenting these little wonders! There is just something very inspiring about capturing children exactly how they are: curious, inquisitive, silly and sweet! The sessions alone are much different with exploring, tea parties and my designated assistant “Mrs. Froggy!” Mrs. Froggy is a stuffed green frog that ribbits when you squeeze her tummy. She is a HUGE hit with children and for this particular session she helped distract from a burnt hand, a little fall and a few tears.
I feel extremely blessed with the amazing children I’ve worked with, not only are they hilarious but its clear their parents have done a fantastic job raising our future generation! I had a blast at the Fullerton Arboretum and Botanic Garden with two of the cutest sisters I’ve ever met! The Arboretum is a great place for not just photography, but for kids! With so much to explore and the large variation of plants its a great place to picnic with the family!
Take a look at my latest kids photography and don’t be shy… leave a comment (comments make me happy)! ;)
Probably one of my FAVORITE pictures this year!! (below)
This little speed racer was quite the experienced crawler!
I love everything about this picture, she is safe in daddy’s arms!
Sisterly love, too cute!
Mrs. Froggy’s internet debut below! Until this session, I always thought of “her” as a boy froggy… thankfully to big sister’s observation its clear that “he” is a “she” because she had eyelashes! Duh! :)
If you are considering having your child’s portrait taken, don’t let it get pushed aside! They change and grow so fast and photography is a great way to remember them exactly how they are, each step of the way!
