December snuck up on us quick, right? I’m fully blaming the fact that Thanksgiving was so late this year, but regardless, I’m excited to be in the last month of 2019!
Are you ready for the holiday madness? I’m really embracing a more laid back approach this year and trying to savor every moment with my family. My son is at a great age for Christmas and I just want to sit in all the magic that this season can bring when you have little kids.
Now, that doesn’t mean that I don’t have some shopping to do. As I started assembling my personal Christmas shopping list, I put together a photography inspired holiday gift guide for you. Gifting photos bring so much joy (especially to grandparents) and there are some really unique, modern and stylish options out there!
My 2019 Holiday [Photo] Gift Guide
Do you love assembling a photo calendar each year? Some of the options out there are cheesy and cheap looking. I absolutely love this modern option by Artifact Uprising.
This is the type of book I’d love to see out on my coffee table all year long. It doesn’t involve clip art, comes in vibrant colors and even has a stylish foil option for the title. You can choose a seasonal theme, or create something totally custom. So cute!
Looking for something a bit more robust than a plain photo book? This scrapbook album by Artifact Uprising is super unique. It allows you to combine photos, text and physical objects which you can store in convenient pockets. This is a gift someone could treasure forever – especially to commemorate a special trip or life event.
Have you used Framebridge before? You can pretty much get anything framed and the user experience and customer service is definitely noteworthy! So if you’re looking to frame photographs, mementos, etc – the Framebridge Holiday Shop is something you’ll want to check out. I especially love that you can upload your digital photos and they will print and frame it for you – super convenient for those last minute holiday gifts.
I’m really loving this product by Minted – especially to commemorate an engagement or anniversary. It’s simple, visually interesting and the modern flair with the foil really makes it look expensive (even though it’s quite affordable).
Do you have someone in your life that loves handwriting lists or journaling? This modern customizable notebook would make a great gift! Minted has great color choices and a wide variety of interior page setups. I’m a big fan of handwriting notes, goals, etc – so I would personally love this gift.
On a budget or looking for a simple (but lovely) stocking stuffer? This ornament by PotteryBarn is super cute (and would look even cuter with a pic of your kid(s) inside)!
Prints + Holiday Cards
Ok, there is nothing modern about regular old prints or cute holiday cards – but it’s a classic choice that people love. And, for those of you who had photos taken with me, did you know that you can order prints and cards directly from your gallery? Now you know! Let me know if you have any questions about ordering.
So there you have it – my favorite photo-inspired gifts for 2019! Get shopping! And if you have another unique photography gift to share, drop it in the comments below.
