Throughout my life, my sister Rachelle has always been there for me. Not in the obligatory sense either, but out of genuine love! She carried me around the house like her own personal baby doll, helped me get my first cell phone (when my parents thought it was unnecessary), and even let me live with her for a year when I moved to Orange County. These examples are nothing compared to the impression she has had on my life! Always a shining ray of support and encouragement, not matter my endeavor, she is my biggest fan!
Photography seems to run in the family, and has always been a passion Rachelle and I shared – to see Rachelle’s beautiful nature photography go to www.RachelleHobbsPhotography.com! Since I had portraits taken for my website, I realized their importance and insisted that my sister put a portrait of herself on her new website. So a photo shoot was born!
To be honest, I was a little nervous to photograph Rachelle. I knew the expectations weren’t monumental, but I wanted to show her accurately through my eyes. The beautiful, talented, warm, wonderful person, who can achieve success in anything she wants! As our shoot approached, a calm wave of certainty came over me, and a part of me knew everything would turn out exactly how it should! We chose Yorba Linda Regional Park because of this beautiful lakes, and overgrown foliage, the perfect environment for a nature photographer! We were incredibly blessed with amazing light, and I am thrilled with the results of our session!
Rachelle, I couldn’t ask for a better big sister! Thank you for all our daily phone calls, for teaching me to follow my dreams, reminding me to be true to myself, and for just being you! I wouldn’t be where I am without you!!
