We are experiencing very strange times right now, both nationally and globally. The Coronavirus, more specifically COVID-19, is wreaking havoc on families and communities at large.
The health and wellness of you and your family are of utmost importance – and this virus is creating so many questions and not a lot of answers. Right now, it looks like we’ll have a whole lot of time together.
If you’re a parent, this might leave you feeling a bit stressed. I get it. I am a business owner who executes a large portion of my work at home. I’m also a mom. Of a toddler.
Need I say more?
Us parents have to stick together right now, and since social distancing means no playdates, my way of helping is to give you any and all tips that I plan on using to survive this quarantine. As much as I love Disney+ and screen time, I’m really trying to keep that to a minimum.
There is A LOT of awesome resources out there, but try not to let that overwhelm you. I’m focusing one creating a fun new project for him in the morning and afternoon. Below are some of the things we will be working our way through over the coming weeks, this will be especially helpful if you have a toddler as this is the age range I’ve focused on.

No app, live stream or activity book can take the place of good, old fashioned quality time. We are definitely using technology to our advantage, but we’ve also been doing a lot of baking, cooking, gardening and going for walks to look for rollie pollies. And I’m loving every minute of it!
The coronavirus is here, and it appears that life will be impacted for quite some time. There are measures each of us can take to slow the spread of COVID-19 (read more here) and there are also a lot of things we can do to make the most of this gift of time we’ve been given with our families. Take advantage of it when you can.
