Being a Southern California photographer, I’m spoiled with beautiful weather 90% of the time. But as my luck would have it, the last few styled shoots I’ve done have all been on VERY rainy days. So when it became apparent that rain would be inevitable for this bridal shoot, we all prepared for the worst… Thankfully our amazing team of vendors were up for the challenge, and we were able to actually pull off the entire bridal shoot in the rain.
I cannot begin to explain how incredible it was to work with such a talented group of individuals. Everyone brought something unique to the table and I’m excited to finally show off the fruits of our labor!
For the first part of our shoot we focused on a very natural look for our beautiful model Tiffany, highlighting our location at the Oak Canyon Nature Center. I’m especially in love with the hair accessories by Tessa Kim, and the stunning bouquet made my Pixies Petals. I’m amazed what a difference a few well styled pieces can add to a photograph, and these items really brought the whole look together!
These tall trees were not only a beautiful background, but helped provide some much needed cover from the rain!
Tiffany was such a sport, even making the rainy cold weather look warm and inviting!
Tiffany’s makeup looked flawless and even stood up to the elements of the day! Special thanks to Serene Bridal Beauty for keeping our model beautiful, even in the rain!
Thanks so much to the awesome wedding vendors who made this day possible! Be sure to check back for the second part of our rainy day shoot, and an entirely different look on our beautiful model!
