My job allows me to meet all sorts of people. A good portion of my clients are new to me, especially being in the wedding industry. However, as my business grows, my list of repeat clientele grows exponentially. That makes my heart happy on so many different levels, and this Riley Wilderness Park couples session is evidence of that.
Kira and Chris are no strangers to being in front of my camera. I have photographed them four or five times over the last few years, and it’s always such a blast! They are former wedding clients of mine and I adore getting the chance to hang out with any of my couples after their big day. It’s definitely one of the perks of my job – having a service that people need year after year. And, I’m continuously in awe and grateful when they choose me.
Riley Wilderness Park Couples Session
Because I’ve photographed them so much, Kira and Chris give me the opportunity to flex my creative muscles. I strive to give them something different, something better, with each shoot. For their session this year, we were rained out (which has been happening a lot more this winter) but we rescheduled and were blessed with some beyond beautiful light.
Riley Wilderness Park is located in Coto De Caza and is a feast for my photographer’s brain. This location offers two seasonal creeks and is also a wildlife sanctuary. The rolling hills, canyons and grasslands were the perfect backdrop for this couples session and Kira really nailed the mood with their styled outfits.
I can speak for myself when I say that, by the end of this session, I had totally forgotten that our original date had been rained out. It didn’t matter any more. The only thing that mattered (that matters) is the love these two share.
