I can hardly believe Christmas is already over, and there is only one week left in 2011! I hope you had an amazing holiday with family and friends, and that your as excited for 2012 as I am. So far it’s shaping up to be an incredible year and I’m anxious to see what it will hold!
After going through my library of weddings for this year, I realized there are several that have yet to see the light of day. These particular weddings I was brought on by another photographer to help capture the day. So before 2011 comes to a close, I’ve decided to dedicate this week to New York City. You might have seen some of my black and white photos of the city, but now it’s time for the main event. BIG THANKS to Erich Chen Photography for bringing me along, for not only a wedding, but a trash the dress shoot, and engagement session… in hurricane rains, it was pretty awesome (but more on that later)!
First up is Ritchie and Oz’s incredibly lucky wedding. I say they were lucky because they dodged Hurricane Irene by a few hours, their wedding day was literally the calm before the storm. This was an all around exciting day for me; it was my first time shooting in NYC, and I got the spend the morning with the boys at an old school barber shop! This is such a cool idea, and honestly I was a little jealous of all the pampering the guys were receiving. ;)
I loved everything about this New York wedding, and I think you’ll understand why…
Congrats again Ritchie and Oz, and be sure to check back for their trash the dress shoot coming soon (seriously you don’t wanna miss this one)!
Great job Kaysha!
Stunning!! Such a beautiful wedding location. A paradise within the city, how delightful! Beautiful work as always!!
