We’ve been getting a lot of rain in Southern California (by SoCal standards, at least) and that has got me all types of excited for the spring colors! The yellow mustard flowers are already starting to show off and that’s something I look forward to every year – and this San Juan Capistrano Spring flowers maternity session is proof why!
The yellow mustard flowers are a staple in our area, but I can’t remember them blooming this intensely before. When Denise mentioned wanting to do her maternity session at this spot in San Juan Capistrano, I was pumped – but in hindsight, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The rain broke for the session and the flowers were in glorious full bloom. Swoon!
San Juan Capistrano Maternity Session
It was lovely catching up with these former clients (you may remember their Ole Hanson Beach Club wedding a couple of years ago). They are in love as ever and I literally can’t wait to capture photos of their little one over the first twelve months of their life with my Babies First Year package.
Getting to photograph couples from their engagement to their wedding and maternity season through the seasons of parenthood is what I love most about what I do. It’s such a special perk, unique to my profession.
Now back to this gorgeous locale. If you’re thinking about having photographs taken this spring and want to capitalize on this mustard flower colorful goodness – make sure you get in touch as soon as possible. Because when the season is over, it’s over.
Denise and Roger are on the front end of such an exciting season of life and I couldn’t be giddier for them. Stay tuned as I’m sure you’ll be seeing their lovely little baby on the blog sooner rather than later!
