And baby makes five! Love love LOVE seeing my families grow over the years. Love even more when they ask me to document this growth and I was so excited to shoot these Santiago Oaks Regional Park family photos!
I first met this stunning mama and her hubby a few years back when I shot their Diamond Bar Center wedding. Here’s a quote from that blog post that still stands true today, “There are few things I love more than a beautiful wedding full of love and emotion. Happy tears, lots of laughter, and the excitement of a wedding day can be so overwhelming, but I adore when a couple embraces these emotions fully and enjoys the ride. Karrie and Chris’ wedding was the perfect example of this, and I found myself tearing up constantly throughout their stunning day. I particular love how they integrated their children into the wedding, and I hope one day I’m half the parent Karrie and Chris are!”
Santiago Oaks Regional Park Family Photos
Well, the time has come to see if I am half as good as they are at this parenting thing! I’ll report back on that :) Regardless, walking through the woods with Karrie (plus bump), Chris and their two littlest loves was such a treat. And let’s not dismiss this STYLE. Seriously, this mama was glowing, hair was on point and the family outfits were out-of-this world complimentary! The father-and-son matching mohawks nearly put me over the edge!
Santiago Oaks Regional park might be one of my favorites for family sessions. Nestled in east Orange alongside the Santiago Creek, the park gives a photographer plenty of options including trails, mountain vistas, shady groves and trees as old as time. Mix that in with excitement around this family’s pending new addition- and it’s near impossible to capture a good photograph!
