You know how we all set the bar pretty high for ourselves at the start of a new year? Well, this wedding was basically the bar for my entire 2020 season. And let me tell you folks, the bar has been elevated to new heights! Stephanie and Michael’s Segerstrom Center for the Arts was literally breathtaking.
Before I go into detail about the venue and its stunning architecture and light – let’s talk about this couple. Stephanie and Michael have been together for 10 years and the foundation they’ve built as a couple really shows. What a wonderful place to start your marriage. The mutual respect, adoration, and love they have for each other was really touching.
And let me tell you… they really know how to pick a wedding venue with good light! More on that below….

Stephanie and Michael’s wedding day was about as close to perfection as you can get. You know why? Both the bride and the groom are very easy going. Sure they hired some of the best vendors Southern California has to offer and they put their heart and soul into planning their big day – but when the day came, they sat back and enjoyed every moment of it!
Take note 2020 engaged couples – be like Stephanie and Michael.
Ok, off my soapbox and back to this gorgeous venue. Honestly, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts was grand, yet intimate and modern, yet comfortable. The vendors did a wonderful job warming up the space (which was majority white and minimal) with florals and other meaningful decor. I especially loved the circular arch used for the ceremony. Stunning!
Stephanie and Michael – you kicked off 2020 in all the right ways for this photographer! Thank you for letting me walk alongside you as you start this new decade in life and love together.
