Since the switch to digital, photographs now live extensively on our computers and are not displayed for friends and family to see (outside of facebook that is). I am guilty of this myself and have a TON of photos that need to be printed, framed and arranged.
I’ve been meaning to put together some examples of wall framing ideas for some time and with the rainy weather, I finally was able to finish them!! I love IKEA’s affordable and simple framing options because regardless of your homes decor you’ll be able to fit these frames into your style without spending a ton of money. I have always been a fan of framing photographs in a black frame with a white matte. Its classic and 90% of all photographs will look great in the combination, so thats what I used in all my examples. The combinations are endless and I had to hold back from posting too many setups ;). For more wall framing examples please take a look at the Framing Ideas page under the Information tab on this blog (found underneath the main header) or simply click HERE.
Wouldn’t it be such a shame NOT to display pictures like this of your children, family, vacation, or wedding? Happy Friday!!
so cool, you have the best ideas for posts!
Thanks for reminding me that my pictures should live on my walls not just in my computer! You have given me some great ideas, IKEA here I come! :)
i really like the layout of four 5×7, two 8×10, and two 16×20 … maybe one day if i ever take over you and john’s apartment. :)
SUCH a great idea for a post! I have been meaning to do this for my clients too, but wow! You rocked it!
