I’ve photographed hundreds of couples. Literally. From weddings to family shoots and even boudoir sessions (to which I’ll leave those details for another post :-). I can honestly say that Natalie and Gary are the most in-tune couple I’ve ever worked with. These two GET each other in a way you rarely see and – as a bonus – they share the exact same sense of humor! There was no shortage of laughter at their South Coast Botanic Garden Engagement Session. And I’m not talking awkward giggles — but real deep belly, tears running down the face and eyes full of joy LAUGHING. It was pretty spectacular and extremely contagious!

Natalie and Gary put a lot of thought into where their engagement session was going to be held. They didn’t disappoint with their choice either. The South Coast Botanic Garden was beyond perfect! The grounds were gorgeous, colors vibrant and the banyan trees – well, they almost stole the show! Simply stunning.
I loved Natalie and Gary’s muted color scheme, as it let their love and the spring blooms take center stage. And, let’s take a moment to talk about that ring bling! Gary – you did good. Really, really good! Make sure you scroll down to the last photo for a close up of that stunning diamond.
I literally cannot wait to hang out with these two again soon. Their 2019 wedding can’t come soon enough (yes, I’m already booking into next year)! In all honesty, I hope my abs have recovered from all the laughing I did at their engagement session before 2019 – because there will surely be more laughing on the big day…and probably a few happy tears, too.
