Katelyn and Craig were a dream to work with. They are so comfortable with each other, which naturally lent itself to being more comfortable in front of the camera. We roamed Laguna Beach while the sunlight of the day started to drift away into brilliant creamy colored light. They told me about their story, their wedding, their love. It was perfect.
And speaking of perfection, let’s talk about Katelyn’s black gown. It was stunning. When exploring venues for engagement sessions with clients, people often think that if their pictures are going to be on the beach they have to dress a bit more casual or wear shorts or a short dress. But I absolutely LOVE when my clients go with dressy or even formal wear. Katelyn did not disappoint. The fabric of this dress, which was light and airy, was perfect for the beach. The lace detail added a bit of romance and the cut – well that speaks for itself. The plunging neckline and side slit were on point!
