As the classic song by Sonny James goes, “Young love, first love. Filled with true devotion. Young love, our love. We share with deep emotion.” Oh, yes young, uninhibited love. Savannah and Jack’s love shone through so bright on their wedding day at The Resort at Pelican Hill. And, it’s easy to see why they have such a good understanding and committment to love when looking at both of their families. The strong foundation and emphasis on relationship and love was felt from both the bride and grooms side. And, when you have love that strong under one roof, it’s pretty easy to capture some great photos. I hope you enjoy these images from Savannah and Jack’s wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill as much as I loved taking them.
Wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill Photos
The weather on Savannah and Jack’s wedding day was quintessential perfection when it comes to fall in Southern California. The ceremony and reception were both held at the ultra swanky Resort at Pelican Hill. With the help of Pure Lavish Events, the day flowed as effortlessly as Savannah’s INCREDIBLE Hayley Page Gown. I mean seriously. The lace long sleeves (swoon)! The gorgeous detailing on her back (sigh)! This dress was to die for (okay, I’m a bit envious)!
Southern California is known for it’s laid-back lifestyle and I don’t often get the chance to photograph a black tie affair. So Savannah and Jack’s wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill was a real treat! I loved seeing everyone dressed to the nines- especially Jack, who was looking dapper in that tux.
This was such a great wedding and I just know it’s the start of a long, happy marriage for this sweet couple.
